Thank you to everyone who joined us for our summer fundraiser – a screening of the classic musical ‘Grease‘.

Haroldswick Hall was transformed into a cosy cinema for the evening, complete with a big screen, excellent sound system, fresh popcorn and plenty of snacks. T-Birds and Pink Ladies alike enjoyed an evening of nostalgia, music and community spirit.

The glorious weather that finally arrived in Unst may have tempted a few people outdoors instead, but we’re already planning more screenings for the darker autumn and winter months. Thanks to funding from the Sandison Trust, we were able to purchase a high-quality projector, screen and power pack, allowing movie nights to become a regular feature of the Wild Skies Shetland calendarSo, if you have any favourite films you would like to see, do get in touch and let us know – we would LOVE to hear from you.
